The Pirates have high expectations for the upcoming season after taking home the Division 1 Championship in 2019 and returning their main core , Experience on offense with Star RB Kavika Tua and returning QB Jakob Harris along with D1 Recruits WR’s Kameron Beachem and Nick Wiliams , the defense will be strong with the addition of MLB McKyle Soo’to along with many other returners like Tre Russell , Vincent Fonoti , Shawn Ramsey , Tyrell Bellmon, Cannon Belew among others .
2. El Camino
The Division 2 Champs have many returners, their main stud RB / LB Noah Sega is back and looking to break into the Silver Pigskin discussion, QB Kiah Reid returns along with a talented playmaker Jacob Gathright. The Wildcats will have depth and experience on both their lines with Vincent Lovato , Jacob Laga , Joseph Letiza , Hawkin Miller , Mackaveli Malotumau , Isaiah Tuipala , Johnny Mckenzie , Pea Misalefua , Taj Tavale among others .
3. Torrey Pines
The Falcons will be returning their main core from 2019 , Brayden Fowler Nicolosi will look to establish himself as one of the best QB’s in the County they are deep at the skill positions with Conan O’brien , Mo Vanderwiel , Wyatt Gardner and Griffen Wilson . The Defense will be lead by Boise State Commits LB’s Mathew Lauter and Marco Notarainni along with DE Zach Rowell and Lineman Matthew Staycer .
4. Mission Hills
The Grizzlies lost players to graduation and transfers but they will always be tough with an excellent coaching staff . They have some young QB’s and return one of best centers in the county in Troy Faulkner along with talented skill players Skai Donnell , Quincy Scott and Elisha Lloyd . The defense will be lead by Senior DE Thomas Marron and LB’s Jaiden Letua and Tyson Chavez .
5 . La Costa Canyon
The Mavericks have a mix of young and veteran players , Parks Odenweller will be a young QB to watch he will have a veteran at RB with speedster Aiden Lippert , Jude Steffan leads the OL , Jayden Lucian is a talented WR . On defense Senior Kris Sanchez will lead the way along with some other good players in Henry Vercoe and Skylar Briggs .
6. Carlsbad
The 2019 🥑 Champion Lancers lost their main core to graduation so expect to see many new faces , Veteran QB Aiden Sayin returns along with Senior RB Mazlo Noorwood and a high level FBS recruit in OL Dylan Smith . On defense DE Drake Miller will lead the way along with Safety Josh Davis .
7. San Marcos
The Knights lost several Starters to graduation and transfers but they do have young talent coming up , Junior QB Carter Schultz is ready for a breakout year , Slot Michael McDaris has speed to burn and RB Kaden Vohnout is a bruiser . On defense Trey Bradford will lead the secondary along with returning DL Noah Cline and Kyle Collier .
