1. Lincoln
has a very talented team coming up this season , QB’s Tyler Jensen and Samuel Cooper IV bring different styles to the QB game , Wesley Neely is a speedster at RB and Lincoln has an arsenal of skill players , Herman Smith , Jalil Tucker , Ja’Shon Williams , Dazure Paggett , Zamajay Duncan , Jahlil Florence , Cayden Dawson among others. Defense will also be strong with Isaiah World , Colton Guerrero, Jason Boyle , Maximus Abasolo , Saiyvionn Williams , Kenneth Stevenson . Sky is the limit for this Lincoln team .
2. Cathedral Catholic
The Dons will have a young talented team this season they did graduate many starters but they will be in the conversation for the Open . RB Christian Hall is set for a big year along with Lucky Sutton , WR’s Rex Haynes , Colman Smith , TE Harry Balke , the starter at QB will have many weapons around him . On defense the Dons will be strong with DE’s Jaxson Moi and Justin Sabbatini and LB’s Luke Otineru , Harmon Savaiinaea , an experienced secondary with Dee’shon Swafford , Malachi Williams and Tano Letuli . Expect perhaps a Lincoln vs Catheral showdown to determine the Western League title .
3. St. Augustine
The Saints have a good squad this season , Richard Colmenero will start at QB and will have a very talented OL of Adan Luna , Gino Campagna , Misael Sandoval , Tangi Pongia , Luke Bolin that averages 6’2 , 280 . The front seven for the Saints is one the best in the county with National Recruit DE Gracen Halton and DT Christian Gaeta , LB’s Jake Bolin , Malcolm Williams and Max Simon .
4. Madison
The Warhawks will have a young team this season , on offense they have a very talented Center in Gianni Walsh along with Senior a young RB in Berrot Rankin that will turn heads. On Defense the Rodriguez brothers Jonah and Edwin will lead the DL , in the secondary Javhi Blomquist and Chris Jackson will lead the way .
5 . Point Loma
The Pointers will have a young team this season , good skill players in Makel White , Joaquin Quintanilla , Cris Brown , Jaylon Brown , Tyson Bryant will lead the way for Point Loma . They will give each team in the Western League a battle.
