Head Coach : Paco Silva OC : Airren Smith DC : Robert McCurdy

Spring Season : 3-1

Top Players : Jose Jackson , Marcos Morachis , Guillermo Perez , Ricardo Soto , Elijah Benevides , Marcos Gonzalez , Kamea Luna , Sergio Cobos

Offense : The Trojans will seek to find a new identity offensively in the post Erik Hernandez Era, two years removed from their CIF runner-up campaign. While losing the dynamic backfield and half of the Offensive line, the young offense is still in good shape with four returners who were each 2nd Team Metro- South Bay. The Trojan offense scored 25 touchdowns and averaged 261 yards rushing in the shortened 5 game spring ’21 season, and will most likely not deviate far from the same run game that has brought success in recent years. Don’t be surprised if the 6’4 185 lb tri-sport athlete, Jackson becomes the focal point of the offense and transforms into a must watch name in South Bay, showcasing his arm and athleticism .

Defense : Defensively the Trojans will utilize an underclassmen heavy, yet experienced group. There are currently four returning starters and the Trojans will need to rely on 6’5 205 lb DE Elijah Benevides and two-way lineman Marcos Morachis to anchor the young line. Patrolling the secondary will be 2 returning all-leaguers DB Kamea Luna (Sr.) and Marcos Gonzalez (Jr.). who are expected to be standouts on the defense. What remains to be seen is if Castle Park will have enough depth to remain competitive defensively with more than a few players expected to go both-ways.
