Through browsing Instagram I came across an account with stories of San Diego High School football Quarterbacks throwing perfect spirals with fundamentally sound technique it was awesome to see them air it out . That account was Left Coast Athletix.

Left Coast Athletix was founded by Jose Mohler . It is rapidly gaining steam as the premier QB training and development program in San Diego, thanks to its founder and coach Jose Mohler . Jose grew up in Cardiff by the Sea and attended La Costa Canyon High School were he started two years and earned first team all Palomar selection and second team all North County, his senior year he would throw to current Texans Wide Receiver Kenny Stills who was a sophomore also on his team was NFL OL David Quessenberry . Jose earned a scholarship to North Dakota State University were logged 10 Starts and had a big win vs Kansas . When he finished college Jose played in Pro teams in Italy , Switzerland and Germany in between seasons Jose would come back home and coach on his nephews pop warner team the QB on that team was current Carlsbad QB Aiden Sayin who recently committed to the University of Pennsylvania .

Through word of mouth Jose’s clientele grew and He found his new passion in coaching QB’s which led to Left Coast Athletix . His mission statement for the program is “Left Coast Athletix is the premier Quarterback development system designed to progress its athletes on to the next level and give athletes the tools to succeed within the game of football and beyond.” He prioritizes the modern QB philosophy which is “ Being functional on the field. Very fluid and natural in their movements and being able to make the throws most can’t. Emotionally aware of their fears and being able to conquer their fears. Finding growth with out ceilings and being able to stay immune to success disease. Never satisfied “.

Mohler Has had the opportunity of working with various quarterbacks at NCAA, CFL, and NFL level. The main commitment has always been to his local community , Aidan Sayin (Carlsbad) Gunnar Hensley (Mission Hills) , Parks Odenweller (LCC) and Julian Sayin (Carlsbad) are his first handful of QB’s he’s Been with all of them since their middle school/elementary days.

Left Coast is currently training many notable QB’s former San Marcos Standout and current UC Davis QB Miles Hastings , 3 ⭐️ Recruit Emmett Brown (Mater De / Santa Ana) , Pennsylvania Commit Aiden Sayin , Freshman Julian Sayin who already has a couple of D1 offers and is looking like the next big time QB out of San Diego , D1 CIF Champion Jakob Harris (Oceanside) , D2 CIF Champion Kiah Reid (El Camino) , Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi (Torrey Pines) , Ethan Moore (University City) , Carter Schultz (San Marcos) , Mathew Davis (LJCD) , Thomas Gruepner (SFC) , Parks Odenweller (LCC) , Gunnar Hensley (Mission Hills) and Ryland Jessie (Helix) .

Jose Mohler states “I’m definitely blessed to be surrounded by such a strong community. We will continue to be consistent in chasing our passion, a higher level of understanding for our process and all the failures it brings our way. It’s one of the best feelings in the worlds watching these young men stay invested to their long term goal and execute by way of their own will. The future of San Diego football is bright. Jose and Left Coast are doing a great job training and mentoring the future QB’s keep an eye out for them and all the QB’s that will be playing in January.
