Community petitions the Sweetwater Union High School district for Denying Sports

The SUHSD is the only district in San Diego at this moment not allowing any type of Sporting activities on or off campus , the district has also said they will not allow coaches to volunteer their time and cannot work with the kids for any reason . The district has faced many issues throughout the years Superintendent Dr. Karen Janney was terminated due to financial troubles , she had been under pressure to step down following a multi million dollar budget shortfall that prompted an investigation into possible misappropriation of funds.
