Taking a look at the Top Class of 2022 QB’s in San Diego

Kiah Reid / El Camino / 5’11 , 188

Reid got the chance to start for El Camino about midway through the season and it jumpstarted El Camino’s Championship run . Reid displays good arm strength and touch and can also take of run and lower his pad level with a good frame and strength.

Brayden Fowler Nicolosi / TP / 6’2 , 190

Nicolosi was a full time starter as a sophomore for TP and gained some valuable experience , Brayden shows good arm strength , accuracy and touch . With veteran OC Danny Mitchel joining the Faclcons expect for him to maximize Brayden’s talents , he will have a veteran Receiving core in what looks like a big year for the TP offense .

Ethan Moore / University City / 6’3 , 190

Moore didn’t get much playing time during his sophomore year due to Stud Senior QB Gunnar Gray , but when he did take the field his talent was on display, Moore has a smooth quick release packed with a big arm and has the ability to take of and run with legit speed . Ethan has sky high potential and look for him to burst onto the scene this year .

Charlie Mirer / Cathedral Catholic / 6’6 , 225

When Senior QB DJ Ralph suffered an unfortunate injury in the Holy Bowl Mirer’s number was called and he responded well converting a critical 2 point conversion pass that would eventually lead to a Cathedral victory . Mirer showed a’lot of potential in his time as a starter he stands 6’6 and has a big arm . Charlie is the son of former 1st Round Pick QB Rick Mirer , Expect a big Junior year from this Don .

Jackson Stratton / La Jolla / 6’4 , 200

Stratton is a pro style QB he displays good arm strength and accuracy , as the signal caller for the Vikings they took home the Division 3 Title , now with a year of Varsity experience and a veteran receiving core expect Stratton to be among the best in the county .

Clash Orsborn / Mission Bay / 5’11 , 165

His first year of playing QB was a total success he threw for 2005 yards and 22 TD’s , Orsborn has a quick release and displays good mobility , over the offseason he has been working with former NFL QB Akili Smith , with a veteran Receiving core expect him to have a great Junior year .

Gunnar Hensley / Mission Hills / 6’2 , 180

Hensley transferred to Mission Hills from Carlsbad . At Carlsbad he had an impressive JV film, the QB has good size with incredible accuracy and can move around , over the offseason he has been working with QB coach Jose Mohler from Left Coast Athletix .

Parks Odenweller / La Costa Canyon / 6’0 , 170

This will be Parks debut year on Varsity if his Varsity play matches his JV film the Mavericks will have a special QB for the next two years , Odenweller displays great passing mechanics and has good speed , a true dual threat .

Carter Schultz / San Marcos / 6’2 , 190

Schultz was pressed into action in the playoffs when the starting QB suffered an injury , Schultz performed well for his first Varsity start and should cary that momentum into this season . Schultz has been working with Jose Mohler of Left Coast Athletix .

Dennis Andrew / Orange Glen / 5’10 , 170

Dennis will be the starting QB for the Patriots this season and many OG coaches are already raving about him , he has a silky smooth release with elite accuracy and can make throws on the run or burn you with his speed . Andrew is one to watch this season .
