Overview: SFC is hoping they can get on the field in 2021 , they will have a young talented team which means a ton of competition all over the field and at every position . They want to play as much football as they can and compete for a Championship in Division 3 .
Offense : Thomas Gruepner finished the last half of the season starting as a Sophomore QB, he is returning bigger , faster and with a firm grasp of the offense , he is surrounded by the deepest group of lineman SFC has had in years starting with Senior returners Sam Thomas and Ollie Fredricks who are joined by an amazing group of underclassmen including returning starting center Ben Coons. Running an offense that likes to distribute the ball around this is potentially the best group of skill players SFC has had in years. Senior running back Stephen Britton is back after missing the last half of last year with an injury. In his final game last year he rushed for over 300 yards and 6 TD’s. Britton will be sharing the ball with his other senior RB’s Perez Denny, Champ Whitton, and Cristian Haymes , watch out for rising sophomore Brett Koopman a stud LAX player who’s looking good on the football field .
Defense: On Defense SFC will have lots of competition led by a stout Defensive line anchored by Luca Torti and Cooper Whitton. They are very excited about a young and very talented LB core including Kai Kyrimis, Dante Rothcford, Joey Olmore, and led by a rising star Zach Marshall who with Torti make up a dynamic TE group. SFC defense will look to get after it and make plays to get their offense the ball back .
